Man, I forgot how hard it was to get those 7700+ scores on my system. It's like the whole thing is CPU limited at this point.

@done12many2 do you know what fps you get at the scene where the camera is orbiting the rock in the rain? Interested to see if all that extra single thread performance gets the fps above like 115. Because no matter how many or what GPU I have, I always get ~110 fps there. Doesn't exactly help scores.

Yes your cpu will be holding you back at suck a low speed. Valley is really a cpu benchmark with newer cards.

You really need to run 4k or 1440p as the 1080p score is pretty much meaningless.

I'd do it. Lets you push overclocks with the voltage unlocked BIOS.

120mm AIOs are enough for the 200W thermal load anyway. Do try to point some airflow at the card or buy some cheap heatsinks for your VRMs.

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

The 295X2, Fury X, and Pro Duo have a 120mm AIO :D, though they are a lot thicker than the ones you can buy.

I got the CPU up to 4.5Ghz, there's also the 5-10% IPC improvement between Haswell and Skylake to consider and that I overclocked my DDR4 to 2300mhz from it's stock 2133mhz.

As for the GPU it would fluctuate from 2.1Ghz to 2.075Ghz, likely due to GPU boost 3.0's temperature limits.

Nobody knows yet. Amd doesn't normally later cut things. It adds extra cost and it's a dik move. The rx460 is unlock able and so it's the fury and some 290's, so they don't normally bother.
