Alright, I'll see what Win7 gives

Btw the doc doesn't seperate different vram

So 1060 3gb and 1060 6gb gets grouped together as 1060

Also is this normal to get max memory clock?

benchmarx2.PNG

00001.png

I don't update the sheet any more but that is a good point. Idk of anyone has even subbed a 3gb 1060.

Also if you want to carry on higher on the mems I would recommend polaris bios editor and just increase the limit to 2500. Then refresh with atiwin flash 274 or whatever we are on now

Uhh, I'm going to have to check. I think everything we've gotten has been the 6GB variants. I'll go through and label them accordingly.

I am fine maxing out memory on msi afterburner. Besides all I do is playing CS go mostly lol (and some tomb raider + crysis 3 later)

I have not been differentiating between those 2 here since the actual GPU is the same and Valley really won't use more than 4GB of memory anyway.

Also, all 1060's on the sheet are 6GB variants currently.

not sure how i got results worse than an fx 8300, but:

Shouldn't be hard to figure out.

Single thread performance is the same or worse. Valley doesn't care for cores.

Need fast single thread on the CPU side of things.

yeah they have the exact same number of stream processors so it makes no difference. the only sheet that i originally put vram size on was 4k i think and maybe i added it to 1440P?

yes, but you might not be getting all the performance you could be. its literally just a case of type in a bigger number. or if you want tight timing you just copy and paste the line below to the top line for mem freq timing on the table

So NVidia accepted my Titan X return. I got refunded $1281 dollars. Now I wait for 1080 Ti availability. :D

I'm thinking of getting a 1050/Ti for the short term. I think I will go to air this time around. Specifically, EVGA. I want their 3-fan ICX FTW monster. Or I may just get their reference board model and water cool it. I gotta have that EVGA CS and warranty goodness. The return process to NVidia (ran by Digital River) is confusing as f*ck. Not something I want to go through again. Maybe I'm so used to Amazon refunding me even before they receive the product. :D I don't think I'll go direct anymore and will wait for EVGA.

EVGA 1080 Ti FTW Hydro Copper would be something I'm interested in.  Otherwise I just get two reference cards and some EK waterblocks as usual.

Just snagged a 1080 Ti from NVidia store!! Couldn't help myself. :D I was refreshing constantly since 7 am. Persistence pays off! I chose next day air so will be here tomorrow. Also got the For Honor/ Ghost Recon: Wildlands bundle.

Saving $500 bucks for the same performance with a free game. Not bad huh? :D

Do you guys have any recommendations of some good rad fans I can use on the Hybrid Kit? Right now I have the stock EVGA fan. I was looking at Noctua NF-F12 iPPC but need some opinions. Noise doesn't bother me too much, I just need cooling.

I use the Noctua NF-F12 iPPC for my radiator currently. Mainly because they have those rubber isolators which helps keep noise down in my open air case...

I used to use the EK Vardar fans, and while they performed really well, the noise they made was annoying to me. I've still got a bunch laying around, some NIB, lol.

You managed to get an EVGA 1080 Ti?

As far as fans, obviously the Noctua NF-F12 iPPC you mentioned is good.  I use EK Vardars F4s in my loop.  Good fans too.

Nah, NVidia store. Surprisingly they're still in stock. The only EVGA ones were on eBay for $850-900. No way I'm paying that.

Anyway, thanks guys. I'll get 2 more NF-A14 iPPC 3000 for intake, and NF-F12 iPPC 3000 for the rad. I'll have 6 iPPC 3000 fans. Talk about ear shattering. xD Thankfully I have a fan controller for them.

Too funny.  Didn't you just say that you weren't ordering from nVidia again due to the return hassles?  I get it though.  Desperate times, desperate measures.  Glad to hear that you have a GPU inbound.

I just keep my slow 1080 SLI until there are a few more card options out there.  Might go the lazy route and just grab two EVGA 1080s with waterblocks already on them.  We'll see.
