Stop stealing scores from the image googles.

Also... are you running 2x16gb 3200c14? Do you think B die (2x8) 4000c12 would improve your score? Does your board have the 2x16gb 3700c14 profile?

That shit was funny.  @Rygar_1989 created and account that same day and hasn't been back since.  Apparently he wasn't too familiar with how the internet worked.  xD

For this last cold run, I was using a 2 x 8 4133 MHz TridentZ B die set that truthfully is no faster on my board than 2 sticks from my 4 x 8 3200 MHz TridentZ B die set.  I'll be returning the 4133 set, but I wanted to try.  4 dimm boards just aren't the best for memory overclocking when compared to the 2 dimm boards like the Apex.  I like running 32 or more gigs of RAM so I can't have my cake and eat it too.

My board has all kinds of B die profiles loaded into it from Asus.  They are half way decent, but still need tweaking to get more out of them, but it's a good starting point.

I sent my Titan back for a refund. I'm going to go with the 1080 Ti and use the extra money for future upgrades.

Hopefully I can get a Ti that can hit higher than 2126. :D Knowing my luck, I'll get one that only does 2012 xD

Pascal's only real secret is keeping it cool.  Has something else changed that I haven't been paying attention to?  Are the Kingpin Pascal cards clocking a lot higher?

yes they will because you have full control of the bios so it would have a bios editing tool so you have a lot more control over the memory and the core. how about disable nv gpu boost 3.0 so the card runs at full speed all the time :D

That's beneficial, but are they running any faster on ambient?

I'm so focused on doing a monster Skylake-X build the I'm losing interest in anything current.  I'm still binning Kaby Lake chips for faster ones, but that's just to kill time until the real deal hits the streets.

Found this on overclockers. If true, what a bummer! :(

Quote
Just heard over on the PCPer podcast with Nvidia's Tom Peterson... 1080 Ti will have a LOCKED voltage in hardware AND the BIOS. This will be true for all 3rd party cards. Welp...

So those wouldn't be bios locked then? Hmm... I'll be honest, I don't know much about those cards other than they're better built and have all dat copper. :D

Is +100MHz on core max what you can acchive? I think 1080 Ti can be OCed much further than 1680MHz on core.

If you look at the screen, it shows 1962MHz Core ;)

Right now i'm running it with my Corsair H90 at 2000MHz and 57°C without problems.

I've not even mounted VRM coolers, backside stays at 75°C and VRMs at about 80? I can touch them for 1 Second without burning my finger. (highly scientific method of measurement.

I'm guessing you should be able to get past 7000 points with that thing. Some of the other Titan X's have been able to so I would Imagine the 1080ti will as well.

57c seems awfully high, unless your ambient is like 35c or something.
