Wow.  That 2600k is choking that card at 1080p.  Congrats on the 1080 Ti!

Thanks... Planing of upgrading my 2600K to the next 8700K. Your 5.3 GHz on the 7700K, is that on water?

My bad... I saw your " Cooling: Custom Loop | 5 x EK 360mm rads | 2 x EK D5 PWM pumps | EK GPUs & CPU blocks " now :-D

His new CPU-Z screenshot suggests around 1.420V

plenty of headroom then.

Should I trust Heaven score? Seems low compared to other cards but then again other games I tested ran as expected. Will go on with memory clock later

Based on the scores I've seen I would guess that Valley doesn't make use of some of the new tech in the AMD cards. Only a guess though, but they don't seem to get the scores that coincide with where they actually perform in games.

I suspect that you may be seeing first hand why we commonly/jokingly refer to Valley at 1080p as a CPU test.  You'll need higher clock speeds to rule it out.  That may be the reason you see similar cards with higher scores.

Don't feel like this problem is big enough for a thread but anyways

I can max out memory clock to 2250mhz (not touching voltages yet)

I ran few valley benches, all stable no driver crash but got quite a low score compared to stock. So why?

Also just retried valley with the above memory clock at 2200mhz but now with extreme hd and the score was lower than without changing the memory speed.

I guess I should revert back? Core clock is absolute max already.

if you flash the bios you can set the ram timings to staying fixed at  2000mhz or 1750mhz timings which helps stop them going crazy, also you can set the limit for the memory clock way higher and give it a bit more power limit if you have the temperature headroom.

Close all that shet on your background and everything else, it'll help. Or just run on win 7, it gives huge points

Well considering your cpu is lock and therefore slow and you are using a very new gpu with some kind of memory compression it does make perfect sense. It's the same with any 900 or 1000 series nvidia gpu as well. Just is way worse on amd cards for some reason.

Rig Specs:

AMD Threadripper 5990WX@4.8Ghz

Asus Zenith III Extreme

Asrock OC Formula 7970XTX Quadfire

G.Skill Ripheartout X OC 7000Mhz C28 DDR5 4X16GB

Alright, I'll see what Win7 gives

Btw the doc doesn't seperate different vram

So 1060 3gb and 1060 6gb gets grouped together as 1060

Also is this normal to get max memory clock?
