My point was that the first option is the residual of the other 3.

Veterinarian. The most technology I deal with daily is the occasional nerd who requires his bid dose of whoop-ass.

Edit: bid mean twice a day.

You're a vet at 25?  For some reason that seems young for that job.  Which is 100% cool to me so I swear I mean nothing bad by the comment.    How much college or training does that require?  Sorry I'm just curious.  ?

Yup, I'm 27.

I work in a non-tech related field.

I'm 29 and a MLIS grad student almost done with school.  FINALLY!  YAY!  ?

I sometimes have to think about how old I am.  Not that I completely forget but I'll sometimes be off by a year or two.  Wishful thinking perhaps?  ?

I would just like to posit that there should have been an option in the poll for those who work in engineering technical fields. <insert type here> engineering is still a "tech" job.

8 years of college plus a couple of interning or "apprenticeship". My strong suit is science and I suck at math, so I took 2 science and a math each semester totalling 3 years for my Bachelor's.

Ummm..  But if you graduated hs at 18 then it hasn't been even 8 years since then without the few intern years you mention.    I'm confused...  ?

My high school had a few college courses on offer and my mean credit-hours per semester was 16 plus 7 credits per summer. I've only been a vet for about 1.5 years but I've been in the field for nearly 8. Good times.

For college students? Take the classes you're good at and take one class you're bad at. That way you sail past your good classes with no effort and can focus on the bad class. Also, summer should be for classes like humanities, history, and psychology/sociology (which I loved when I took them on the same days).
