Posted October 15, 2016 Good god never buy a U1 rack server that isn't cable managed well from the factory. No offense HPE but its taken well over two hours to get this far. I hate this kind of cable management, it doesn't even look that good, this is a nightmare. So tiny, so many cables, so little room. At most he has about 0mm under the bottom. Unless you mean straight through the chassis. Posted October 15, 2016 @ARikozuM Don't know much about servers and/or U1 chassis things. But if he only has got the rack, he might be able to add some spacers @ the bottom...

That isn't really an option, the server wouldn't sit level, would fuck it up in the rack and possible let air out and impact cooling. Posted October 15, 2016 Author well, fuck, the server is claiming a fan is missing or failed (maybe the connector got knocked loose) BUT FUCK, THE FANS WENT EVEN LOUDER THAN WHILE ON POST, I THOUGHT THAT WAS 100% BUT IT ISN'T, FAIL SAFE MODE IS EVEN LOUDER! Oh the irony. Yours faithfully
Posted October 15, 2016 Author I went and recorded the server booting, and the missing fan response, which was nothing short of ear pounding, The video is still processing, it'll be a minute or two more, actually I'll wait until it's live to hit submit. No, it was some label off a decoration for spooky night. That was to show the amount of air moving through this thing. Yours faithfully
 Posted October 15, 2016 Author Found the error, one of the tried up loops had gotten into the fan and blocked the counter rotating rotor, each fan unit has two fans that spin opposite to each other.
