Looks good, but since I am from the US, I am not sure about price. Probably not bad though, since AOC is quite competitive in terms of price/quality.

I think you should get it if you play fast paced games.

The issue is that AFAIK, there are almost no IPS 120/144Hz monitors.

If you can, get Qnix *Perfect pixel 2710 PLS 1440p 27" OC'able monitor off eBay, it costs the same as the ones you suggested, but has better image, higher res and can easily reach 120hz if you use a quality Dual-link DVI-D cable.

I know, I don't think he should get an IPS display since he's gaming, I just put that thing there since people here like to recommend IPS monitors for anything. *cough cough* like the guy above me *cough cough*

I honestly dont care if its TN and has bad viewing angles and mediocre colors, I'm willing to sacrifice all of that for the smoothness

What would you put first?

1.smoothness

2.Resolution

3.Detail

I know smoothness is 1, btu what about the others?

PLS 120hz > TN 144hz.

Not for motion blur.

I dare you to try reading the street name labels in TestUFO: Panning Map Test on your IPS or PLS monitor at 1920 pixels/second.

I guarantee you can't.  You can only successfully do this on a LightBoost monitor (strobe brightness 10%), G-SYNC monitor (in strobe mode), or a CRT tube display.   On these displays, the map is as sharp as a paper map being moved sideways past your eyes.

LightBoost has less motion blur, and G-SYNC also has an official strobe mode included.

If you are really into competitive, multi-player, online gaming? Get the 144hz.

BenQ's new 144Hz monitor is excellent. Colour depth is *much* better than other high refresh rate monitors I've seen.

With that said, if I was buying a gaming monitor today I don't think I'd consider one that isn't compatible with NVIDIA's G-Sync upgrade kit.

I have the Asus VG278HE. In the US, it's the best for the money. And hopefully the DIY G-Sync kit will work later on.

Yea the better colors are a nice advantage but G-Sync is more worth it over the colours tbh.

Isn't BenQ on the list of partners for G sync though? Maybe we will see something for them in the near future.
