Thanks! Yes, 99.6% is hard to achieve. Especially with cellphone parts. Most of the parts that I sell and ship out work great. But I do occasionally ship out a part that is defective. The only way to avoid this is to not sell parts. When a customer unfortunately receives a defective part from me, I just hope the customer sends me a message to let me know about it so that I can help. I don't even think about my feedback. I am genuinely interested in helping the customer and making sure that I turn their Negative experience into a positive one. If I do that, the feedback takes care of itself. I don't even ask the customer to return the defective part. Unless it is a higher price item like a cellphone LCD display. If the customer prefers a refund, I'll usually have them return it for a refund. But if a customer would rather have another one shipped out, I ship them another part and do not request the defective part back. If I want the part returned, I'll include a postage stamp and return mailing label. I'll even include a free screen protector or even a charge cable for the inconvenience of receiving a defective part.

The other seller I bought from is a local guy, and I thought I could do a free pickup which I did last week. But I did not see no option for that tonight.

 

This don't make sense. You can demand a refund right away. Be careful while selling, cuz u could be screwed.

We need buisinesses like you that teach the big stores that service is worth money. A cheap tv sells until it's gone, a satisfied customer returns for a lifetime.

Congratulations on your long running successful business! That is very impressive!

 

I live in a smaller town of 6000 people. I will support the local shops over the big box stores even if I pay a few more dollars. If these small shops do not get the support of the local community, they are out of business. Often, you get much better service and the employees at the small shops are knowledgeable about the products they sell.

Update:

 

I just fully refunded the OP's purchase through Paypal. Never received a reply to my messages about whether or not he still wants me to send him the screen. The OP has disappeared from this thread. I'm not going to get my selling fees back by refunding through Paypal. Oh well. I'm sure I'm not going to lose any sleep over my lost $2.

 

I left the OP a note through Paypal. If he will even see it. Only allowed 255 characters. Here is the message I left with the refund:

Isn't this what scammers do? Fully refunding a customers purchase?

 

I'll likely add the OP to my blocked buyers list to prevent him from accidentally ordering from me again.

 

The OP did mention that he paid a premium price to purchase from me because I am in the same province. Many sellers are selling these screens for around $18 including shipping. I sell mine for $24.95. What the OP doesn't understand is that there are different qualities. Most sellers buy the cheap quality junk that has high defect rates. Those sellers are hoping that the parts last long enough so that you can't do anything about it when the part does crap out. I purchase a higher quality, but my price is higher. All the OP sees is that my price is higher than that of other sellers. You do get what you pay for. The quality of screen that I sell is a medium grade quality. I would like to sell the high grade screens, but then my price would be double what it is and nobody would buy from me because most sellers get the low quality junk. Not much point in that.

yeah its not a scam, he had the right to send u the product, now if u do receive it u can try to see if they will accept a return, but u not paying attention or knowing ur equipment does not make them the scammer it just means u made a mistake, u may want to use amazon next time

warehouse systems are that effective... If you order, there's no way back other than don't accepting the package which is shipped to you, or sending back the item delivered to you.

You are allowed to have animated avatars on LTT, but - try to have images like "userbars" in the signature - no chance...

Excels last cell is XFD1048576 and once was IV65536.

(if you want to have the most effective mousepad - use a colored matte floor tile)

Not a problem. I didn't join this forum for advertising purposes. Nothing that you can do about the actions of any of your members. But if it wasn't for the actions of the OP, I wouldn't have found this forum. Maybe eventually I would have. So, it was actually worth the hassle. Thanks! :)

If you read the terms of service as soon as you buy it the seller has the option to cancel if they want

I stalked your page for a bit and I must say, the neutral and negative reviews gave me a bit of a chuckle... 'blacked out lettering on the battery' seems to warrant a non-positive review.

Yes, it does hurt my business. Most people buy from the sellers with the lower price. The price of an Original product can never compete with the price of a fake. Everybody advertises them as Original whether it actually is or not. As a buyer, you can't even go by the price. If a price seems too low to be Original, then it probably is counterfeit. So, you buy from a Seller with a higher price because you have that "You get what you pay for" mindset. There are Sellers that price their fakes higher to take advantage of the buyers that go for the higher priced items thinking that it must be Original because of the selling price. That Seller just made more money off of you for the fake product. But, that Seller will usually have more bad feedback compared to the Sellers selling the fakes for a lower price. The more money you pay for a product, the more pissed off you are when it turns out to be lower quality than what you would expect from an Original.

 

Many phone parts that I sell are not Original parts. They are generic brand and are very good quality that is comparable to an Original but at a much lower price. Those parts become fake if I advertise them as being Original.

 

I'm building a long term business where people will keep coming back, tell their friends and family about me, etc. Ripping people off by Selling fake goods is no way to build a long term business. But I am starting to question that very statement. I have purchased a Samsung battery from many of my competitors to see if they really are selling Original batteries for those low prices. As I suspect, most are fake. A few were used Originals being advertised as new. So, when I look at many of my competitors battery listings and see them selling 4 times as many as what I do, it pisses me off because I know for a fact the batteries are fake. And some of these sellers have been selling fakes for several years. Apparently, these Sellers are building a long term business doing just that. I'm amazed at how they can sell fakes for so long and get away with it. I get annoyed when I sometimes receive a message from a customer pointing to a price of one of my competitors that I have confirmed that sells fakes and asks me if I can give a better deal. I do not budge on my price. I provide the link to my video showing proof that my batteries are Original. I tell that potential buyer to message the other sellers and ask for proof that their battery is Original. If that buyer still purchases from the other Seller, that buyer will probably check my video and see that the battery he received is fake. I will never tell a buyer that a certain seller is selling fakes even if I know. When you are going to purchase an item from a Seller and that Seller is badmouthing their competitors, that Seller does not look very professional. If I told the buyer "Go ahead and purchase from that other Seller. I hope you enjoy your fake!", do you think that buyer will ever buy from me? Very unlikely. If I stay professional and try to be respectful of the buyer in my messages, then that buyer might buy a few fakes from other sellers and get ripped off a few times or even several times before finally deciding to purchase my higher priced battery. I might not get that customer to buy from me now, but I have a much higher chance of getting that customer to buy from me later.

 

I know the feedback comment you are referring to about the blacked out lettering on the battery. It was for an iPhone battery. Forget exactly which model. They were Original batteries. The writing on the battery label said "Imported by Apple". China Customs would not let the shipment through because I am the importer, but I am not Apple. Obviously. So, my Supplier thought it would be a good idea to black out the "Imported by Apple" with a black marker. The person that left that feedback comment thought the battery was not Original just because of the black lettering. When I contacted the customer to explain what I just mentioned, he confirmed that the battery was working great but still refused to change the feedback because of the black lettering. I never realized how many stupid people there are out there until I started selling online. Lol
