How much data do you use?

Hey guys, I've been wondering since Linus started promoting Ting, how much data do you use? I use a ton of cellular data on an unlimited plan, but even limited plans often charge less than the $10/GB Ting charges. So, not to criticize Linus, just out of curiosity, how much data do you use each month?

Bonus points if you include how much you pay for your plan.

So far, I have 1GB of data usage.

Ting isn't designed around people who use a ton of data, it's for people who use a little to a moderate amount. It's great for people, like me, who are on wifi a lot so we don't need a lot of data. I use Ting btw, they're really awesome :D

Cellular data, I use around 50MB to 100MB a month, I'm on wifi almost constantly so it never gets used.

Home Data, I use a good 1.5TB+ each month

On my phone? 0. Because I can't afford to pay for data(expensive AF in Canada for like, 6GB MAX), so I download locally everything I need for the day while at home in the morning and that's that. My phone plan cost me $20 + tax/month, for local phone calls and no texting. I could upgrade to the $25 province-wide calls and 100 "free" texts/month, but I don't need it, so yeah. (With Chatr Wireless)
On my home network though, I do between 150GB and 400GB depending on the month. But that's on my PC mostly, it's like, why would I my phone to browse the web or do anything like that while at home when I have my PC right there...

CPU: AMD Ryzen 3700x / GPU: Asus Radeon RX 6750XT OC 12GB / RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB DDR4-3200
MOBO: MSI B450m Gaming Plus / NVME: Corsair MP510 240GB / Case: TT Core v21 / PSU: Seasonic 750W / OS: Win 10 Pro

Good point, but I imagine Linus has a lot of power users in his audience.

I do see where you're coming from though, also edited my post a bit to actually answer the question, lol.

I'd say it's almost a mixed bag between power users of cell data and power users of wifi data which wouldn't count towards the limit.

I see, I see. That makes sense. I use a lot of home WiFi too, but my 4G doesn't benefit from that! I don't have WiFi at school, or work, or the other places I use my phone that aren't home.

I guess I'm the only one here with charts like mine?

At the minute, I use zero mobile data. I'm living in a different country to where my contract is, and mobile data isn't included in my plan unfortunately. I get EU calls and texts included, but I have to pay extra for data. All in all, I believe my plan is £25 a month.

Wow, that's a lot of data on the phone!

At 1 TB they ban you from the network, which is why I have it set to turn off at 800 GB.

A 22 GB plan? That seems odd, why isn't it 20 or 25? Or even 22.5?

0 Thats pretty much everything including calls. The only reason I buy credit (pay as you go about 10 GBP every 3 months) is for free internal network calls and texts.
