I needed a new laptop replacement. Was watching reviews when I came across LinusTechTips. Have since then gotten a new laptop, and have become a member of the PC Master Race (not officially :))

At first I just wanted a computer I could play Minecraft on, I eventually got really interested in computers and their parts and started watching LTT and similar youtubers. Now I'm more of an enthusiast than a gamer but I do game on my PC fairly often.

i actually got started because of minecraft. i had a complete potato CPU and no GPU. so i started researching better parts and learning, i eventually found Linus tech tips and the rest is kinda history, got bored of minecraft before i actually ever built my gaming PC though.

Starcraft II had just released, and I wanted a computer for it.

 

So I asked around in TeamLiquid and so I got my first computer.

I decided to try PC gaming, I figured, "eh, what the hell."

Currently focusing on my video game collection.

It doesn't matter what you play games on, just play good games you enjoy.

I never joined the stupid PC master race.  I built a PC because it's better for what I want to do, which happens to not only play games but develop web applications and run security audits.  I don't like consoles but that doesn't mean that PC is any better does it?  

 

Consoles have their ups and downs too, I would never buy one but I don't want to view myself as any better than anyone else because I have PC.

I've always been interested in tech and I decided a few years back that I wanted a gaming PC for my 18th birthday from my dad since he said "this is the last big thing your ever going to get from me now your 18" since then everything has been replaced in that PC for one reason or another apart from the case. I started looking for build guides to know what was good and bad etc and came across all the old ltt sponsored by intel ones. So yeah life story much lol :P

Because I played games on my pc more (yea doom!) than my Snes and never bought another console, still got the snes it's still awesome. Wouldn't say i belong to any master race...I just suck as playing games with controllers and get my arse kicked, not much fun when you/re always loosing.

Silent build - You know your pc is too loud when the deaf complain. Windows 98 gaming build, smells like beige
