What temperature do you let your CPU Get to while folding?

Can't monitor temps but the socket is 50*c and thats usually higher than the core temp (when i lock the cores again), im fairly confident it doesnt touch 60 which would be my limit. the plate and the heatpipes practically on the cpu are finger temperature, this in a 22 degree c ambient

my e5200 at 3.33ghz peaks at 59*c this is all when folding on maximum

yeah, I think my socket temps get high before my cpu... i'm thinking of sticking a fan in behind the mobo...

antec 300 two has that ability as does the 1100 and the cm 690II though I wouldn't use that case if it was bought for me..

I let my 4670k run at <60° at 4ghz and 700 rpm noctua cooler!

my old (replaxing it on christmas with a 280x) HD 6770 runs with a 3rd party cooler at <45°

i hope i can get a nice aftermarked cooler for the 280x as well.

I know this post has died a little, but I fanagled a 4.4Ghz overclock with 1.145v. Good chip it seems. The motherboard was running at 1.3v  I was in shock when I saw that in BOIS...

What is folding?

If you mean heavy loaded mode, then 55-59

At 3.8GHz, I never go above 60 degrees.

 

Dunno about GPU though.

Just kinda curious. I have a h100i and on quiet I get to the low 70s with a liquid temp of 43. Should I retry a thermal paste install and see if I can get the CPU temps down?  The 80*f ambient doesn't help much either.

Mine never gets above 70 degrees.  That's overclocked and folding on full.

Damn, this is hot! Do you use stock cooler?

I use a Corsair H60. Mind you the overclock causes more heat and a thin 120mm rad doesn't do much to help. I don't mind going into rough territory with temperatures. I was hitting 95c before I found out my cooler wasn't seated properly and only maybe a third of the CPU was even touching the cooler.

48c on the Core, NH-D14 cooler. I could go higher but the voltage of my CPU is already high.

That's because I have 560mm of rad space, VERY good fans, a 450ml res which allows me to run a lot of fluid and my GPU is VERY efficient, so I don't get a lot of waste heat from that...

That's because I have 560mm of rad space, VERY good fans, a 450ml res which allows me to run a lot of fluid and my GPU is VERY efficient, so I don't get a lot of waste heat from that...

What is your 780 running at? I have mine boosting to 1149 on stock cooler.

I keep mine on stock - to many issues with Core 17 and 15 going wacky on me - 36C right now...

OK, mine is at a temp limit of 80c and fans are around 60-80 depending on time of day.

maximum temperature for my 3770k @ 4,4 GHz I ever saw was 63 :) [under constraint load from boinc]

On my Pentium B960 laptop, I let it go to 85Ccause I trust ASUS engineering, and my old Dell (Pentium 4 2.8 Gigajertz) is limited to 67.7C (TMAX) and the cooler looks like this anyway, http://amzn.to/1dqiAr9, and it will chug along very decently for a 9yo pc.

With my H100 I run about 60C max on a stock i7 920.

The temps aren't too great considering i'm not overclocking but I'm happy with em'

I don't fold a lot but when i do the CPU reaches 85C and both my 680's reach about 60C. It's a custom loop, so it might seem high, but the CPU is clocked to 4.9GHz
