Got a extra 1060 for free what to do.

Hi guys new to the forums here, what's up?!

 

Just ordered a new rig to upgraded from my ancient 6850 and I decided to get the founders edition 1060 straight from the Nvidia store page. (Everywhere else was sold out)

 

Now it seems I got sent 2 on accident. When I saw this I was like sickkkk SLI time (not) because 1060s don't support SLI.

 

So what should I do with this extra bad boy?

 

Use it as dedicated physixs engine?

 

Sell it?

 

Keep it in hope that more games in the future will support multi you adapters etc

 

Pop it in for aesthetic reasons?

I would definitely sell it because that is basically free cash if you have no other use for the card.

Assuming this is the truth, please explain how you got a second ~$300 for free, as I'm sure DigitalRiver Tech Inc. would love to have their card back.

And also why do I need a better card? You obviously don't know what your talking about I don't game at 1440 or play shit like Witcher 3 with hair works at max settings. I play overwatch and Cs go lol... A 1060 is already overkill....

OK coolio, you got two but paid for one. I highly recommend you at least contact them to find out why this happened.

They might not even ask for the other one back due to shipping costs.

I guess it couldn't hurt. Although I've heard of fishy stuff from digital River from its customers (not that it has anythinf to do with this.) But I heard there a pretty shitty vendor in general.
