RX 480 is a way better card, its around a 970 in preformance

Would an RX 480 or a GTX 960 give better gaming performance. It would be for a build that has an i3-6100 and 8gb of ram

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

960, if you bought a 960 over a RX 480 no one would ever mess with you again. As they would fear your mastery of bat shit craziness. Kinda like wearing your cloths on backwards, no one messes with you out of fear.

If anyone asks you never saw me.

I thought they were similar because they have a similar price and I don't have much knowledge on the performance of radeon cards
