Rams are ok , hdds are ok , i change the psu for my old psu to test(evga 500w) , same issue , i move the games from hdd to the ssd , same problem , i change the monitor , the cables , and a test a few versions of amd drivers and nothing , the problem start 2 weeks ago when update windows 10 creator fall update + buy a new psu + install new amd videocard driver , i start to see again , on my old pc i see this problem too i5 2320 +8gb + 7970/960 , and never fixed .

 

I am 90% sure on this point the problem is related to the new psu for some reason(use old psu not fixed this) or with the electricity of the house because i change the entiry pc , also on the past i tested with others hdds and windows versions (7/10) , and i cant fix this ,also the problem is present on dx11/dx12/vulkan games .

So you had this problem before and bought a new pc (with the old psu first) and the problem was still there?

and btw you cant really see anything in the 480p video you posted.

i5 2320+h61+8gb+ 7970 and thermaltake 530w(with this pc its very notorious), first change the TT 530W For a  evga 500w and nothing ,  when change to the nvidia 960 i dont the the problem of the level of the 7970 , change for a rx580 , and i dont see the problem , change to ryzen 1600+16gb + new hdd , continued all ok , change to the new psu + windows 10 fall creator update + new drivers , and i start to see the shadow problem again , after a few days the problem its more notorious now , sorry for the low qualily but my internet sucks , and i can not upload videos on better quality , see the flowers shadows .

New drivers and a huge windows update like that has so many variables involved

Just keeping this here as a Yes  , but after update windows 10 i dont see the problem , same history when update 1 time the drivers , after change the psu i see the problem , after that i change 3 times of drivers (17.10.1---17-10.3---17.11.1) also i tested with the old psu the games and same history , and the last 2 or 3 days i see the problem become worse .

So I bought my new videocard a month ago ( AMD RX 580). I got a lot of problems since then. The lines  of textures are flickering, shadows are flickering, graphics are grainy. Before with my old nvidia 660 card I didnt had this problem. I tried using ultra settings on AA, it helped a bit but still really noticeable. I really cant  play any games because the graphics distract me so much. So I recorded it, I hope you guys could help me out a bit. Also other problems i have is that the screen turned suddenly black while the monitor is still on. I have to restart the pc to get it back to normal. Besides that I hear screeching/scratching sounds come from inside my pc often. I've build my pc myself but thats it, im totally not techinal so I really need some help with this.

Guys I found these posts of a guy in the nvidia forum, this might be the solution:

/1./

Looks like the Northbridge is damaged on the Mainboard. You need to do a CMOS reset and buy another Mainboard.

It's not about the CPU, PSU, RAM, HDD or GPU.

A Northbridge transfers rendered data from the Graphiccard over the PCI-express slot.
You need to do a CMOS reset on the broken mainboard to avoid the transfer of corrupt data from the damaged Northbridge to the GPU.

As long as the Northbridge is damaged.. you will see jagged lines and stuff like this on your monitor.
Remember... YOU NEED to do the CMOS reset 1st! Before you build in the new Mainboard. If you don't do this.. the error will remain even on the new Mainboard!

Best solution would be to buy new Graphiccard plus new Mainboard. Or used parts for a smaller price. Because the CMOS reset thing is not always working for 100%.

 

/2./

You need to consider that the Northbridge can be damaged very easily. It can be damaged by electrostatic discharge.

It's enough to tough the Mainboard with charged hands.... and it's OVER. So always avoid electrostatic charge on your body if you build in new computer components.

"We'll do CMOS when the components on the motherbord and never stard the pc again and build in the new mainboard?"

1: Do the CMOS reset (on old Mainboard) while you have your old hardware. You need to get a Boot Code 99.

EVEN if you buy a completely new pc... you can destroy the Northbridge with electrostatic discharge! Sometimes you need to open the computer case to clean the pc from inside.. at least 1x in a year... sometimes you touch the components and

BOOM

electrostatic discharge!

Keep in mind... thats the reason for many computer and hardware problems.

I read the best new drivers of amd for windows 10 creator fall update are the 17.9.3 , i can try tomorrow that drivers , but i am wait a new drivers,  this version (17.11.1) , have a few problem , but i am sure its not a driver problem .

I see nothing changed since i left...

No answer, always the same guy saying we are blind and this is normal (so normal, r9 280 with better AA than a 1080Ti, pay your logic!).

Changed to Ryzen, some games looks really better, some, still have the flickering edge with strange AA.


The only "good" news is: we are more and more affected by this, they will, soon or late, take  care of it!

Next week i will move my screen to my friend house, another useless test, but, who knows?

Im starting to notice that the graphic bugs are getting worse and worse in my case. At first I only had the bad aliasing and now I also got the pixelated Shadow pop-ins... and this all has to do with view distance, if I go close to an object its pretty much flawless, if I go away it gets jagged. Same with shadows, they only get detailed when i go really close. I want to try changing my psu and reinstall windows, because these are the only things i didnt try yet. I know that many of you guys here did this already but I think this issue has different causes.
