Just bought 2 of these, to do an L shape table in the corner of my room.. being delivered saturday. Charged £35 for delivery.. Such a rip off! Will post pics once they're up and PC is set up.

I mean considering the desk is like $35 for tabletop and legs...paying $30 for shipping isn't that bad.

I go to checkout, total is $104. Shipping... $349. Total for two table tops and 9 legs.... $453. Nope.

This is amazing. I wanted a desk so bad I was looking at updesk (even though it's expensive af and the standing isn't appealing) and considered saving for there pricey desks. But this thread singlehandedly (well theoretically will) save me a lot of money c:

I had looked at this at least a month ago assuming I'd pursue this; today, I bought another gaming PC to add to my battle station here, so I threw some pieces onto my shopping cart and went to check out.

 

 

Oooo-eeee; $349 on shipping for a single top, two legs, and a cabinet.

 

I am in Montana and the nearest IKEA is Denver; hehehe...

 

was worth a shot :P

 

Tomorrow I'll be going on and about looking for building supplies; perhaps.

after seeing this, I went to Walmart and got the REAL easy option for a desk.

 

$31 6-foot folding picnic table.

Ha-ha, I wish I went down this route! However I got a really good second hand desk for £5 so it is fine. I will look at these for the future when I get more monitors.
