TPB blows though. I love KAT, and it's a shame that it's basically gone now. I've since switched over to a former big name site, which I still rate as "Meh it's alright," but it's the best we have right now. That and private torrent sites. (Currently looking for an invite to one...)

if they can sue a single person for millions, for just downloading/uploading a few songs...

Simple, they will push for jail in addition to the cash. The "best" example is the UK, they just raised the max jail penalty to 10 years. This is just crazy, you get less for murdering someone... :S

I bet you that within a week a new site will have taken its place. that's just how the internet works. you can't ban something that's to big to control.
