SLI v.s Non-SLI

Hey guys! Hope someone answers my noob question.

I'm looking to get an "upgrade" err sort of... Thing is, I have a 1st Gen GTX Titan, Been running well and I have it for 3 years now. My main question is, based on performance, which would be a better path?

1. Keep the GTX Titan
2. Buy 2 GTX 780 and have them on SLI (They are cheep from where I come from)
3. Buy a GTX 980 ti

Thanks! Hope you have a good day!

GTX 1070 would be best but 980ti is cheaper atm so get whichever u want. They both perform exactly the same. 1070 has more Vram and consumes less power.

SLI will never run 100% correctly because nobody cares for it and devs just do what they can with time they have.

Err... soo noob, don't even know how to reply on specific comments. Anyway, thanks guys! Really helpful feedback here. I guess I'll ditch the 780 SLI eh?

@Aytex/Thony/Enderman:
That offer is sick! Sadly I cant take advantage of that, as postage to my country will be very high. The cheapest 980 ti that we have here would cost me around $380. On the other hand the cheapest 1070 is at $440, $60 difference, you think it's worth it? Also will it make a difference if I bought an after market 1070? I saw on called "Virtual Edition" from Galax. Card design looks like one of those old GTX 560, with the sticker thingy...

If you don't have any problems with your current card and you can play everything on max, why bother upgrading?

Depending on your budget go for RX480 in crossfire or 1070 in SLI even 1080 in SLI .

Having owned two of those cards, I can say it would depend on the game and res played. I sold them for two 980's then sold those for two titan blacks. Considering a 1080 now.

I would get what ever is in your budget,  whether its a 980ti, 1070 or 1080.

Not an AMD fan, been there, and SLI or CrossFire is out of the options now.
