Need CPU-Z and an actual screen shot of cinebench fully open.

@Jumper118

I think both multi and single core R15 scores are going to look awesome on a 12c/24t Skylake-X part.  :D

Let me think.  12 cores running with Skylake level IPC?  Yeah, I'll take one of those.

Oh, and the ability to swap in a small high clock speed 4 core into the same platform as needed!  Benchers are going to love Skylake-X!!

Little quad core doesn't have huge lanes or quad channel tho :I

Doesn't matter to me.  It'll just be a second chip.  Obviously, most benchmarking will take place with the 12c/24t part.  The 4 core will come in handy when running CPU limited benches like Valley and older stuff.  The 12c part will have Skylake level IPC and the 4 core part will have Kaby Lake  Skylake IPC and much more OC headroom.

The fact that you can easily swap between the two on the same platform is what makes it awesome.

4 through 12 cores on one platform.  You pick.  :D

Current 6950x chips are able to hit 2400cb or more with ambient cooling.  Add 2 more cores, better IPC, and more OC headroom to that and we may be getting closer to the 3000cb mark with the new Skylake-X 12c part.

Yeah, I think the 4 core part is going to blow our minds in single-threaded performance.

Last time I checked, my 2 year old ambient cooled 5960x is beating ambient cooled 1700 through 1800x CPUs in both single and multi.  :D

If I have to pay 2k, for the fastest part, I have to pay 2k for the fastest part.  I wasn't talking about value.

Intel = top performance.  AMD = great value.  Nothing new here.  :D

i hope the 12c24t clocks decent unlike the 6950x. 6ghz on 12cores will be crzy fast in vantage and firestrike :D

i sent the second x370 pro brick back yesterday and am swapping it for a taichi or k7 but neither are in stock. asus are sending me a hero to play with on ln2 on the 28th :D

I couldn't agree more.  For us ambient guys, the improved IPC and better overclocking from Skylake architecture found in a 12c part is going to be more then welcomed.  The ability to swap from 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 core parts is going to be fun as well.
