It's super quiet but it's not gonna cool well enough to overclock if that matters. The be Quiet is bigger but should allow for some overclocking.

If you don't like the aesthetic, take @STRMfrmXMN's suggestion. It's a bit harder to find.

 

The Noctua will perform pretty well and its fan is high quality. The be quiet is simlar in performance though, see if you can find it.

Actually, as someone who has used both the Noctua doesn't cool as well in the Node 202 (similar enough I guess?) so I suggest the be Quiet for sure.

You're not going to get much of an overclock in an RVZ02. The beQuiet is probably the best of the two for that. I'm a fan of the Cryorig C7, as it'll fit in just about anything and is dead silent at normal RPM, but it's not really designed for any sort of overclock, more as a quiet, sexier stock replacement.

It does look beautiful in my mini ITX sleeper build, but I would not trust an overclocked i5 to it, let alone an i7 lol.

The build I am planning has a Pentium G4400.

My stock 6100 gets to 70C during a P95 small FFTs torture test, but that's it. Over course, there's a 120mm exhaust zip tied right on top of it. Banzai's a weird little PC.

Stock is more than adequate. If noise is a concern, go for the C7. It's significantly cheaper than the other options, although the beQuiet is just as sexy.

Prime95's small FFT is kind of unrealistic in tems of heat, AIDA64's stress CPU + Cache + FPU is better for a worst case scenario.

 

That or actually running a Lucas-Lehmer test that's relevant to GIMPS (since those will use higher batch sizes for AVX).

Yeah, I'm not too interested in torture tests on Banzai. What would be the point, you know? The i3 isn't overclockable with the board I have (or the PSU I have, honestly), the 750 Ti straight up refuses to stabilize any OC, and being that the case was salvaged from an ancient low-end workstation, I'm perfectly happy to Overwatch along at medium details in 900p at 55C.

 

My wife hates that I have a massively expensive gaming PC on one corner of my desk...and I've been spending all my time lately on the dopey little HP Slimline refit.

well, prime95 is kinda supposed to be an absolutely unrealistic worst case scenario. it's like testing a gpu by running something at 2000 FPS. (which.. some things do..)

 

my preferred real world test is 7zip's built in benchmark, since it also supplies a more real-world load curve as well.
