The build I am planning has a Pentium G4400.

well, prime95 is kinda supposed to be an absolutely unrealistic worst case scenario. it's like testing a gpu by running something at 2000 FPS. (which.. some things do..)

my preferred real world test is 7zip's built in benchmark, since it also supplies a more real-world load curve as well.

Can you set the 7-zip benchmark to run continunously for an indefinite amount of time? Cuz that'd be pretty dope. Real-world workloads are definitely better for stress testing.

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

Computer having a hard time powering on? Troubleshoot it with this guide. (Currently looking for suggestions to update it into the context of <current year> and make it its own thread)

Offer the expensive PC over to the wife for her to play? :D

She's rocking a G3258 and a GTX 750 Ti (I have too many of those). She doesn't know any better. If I let her use my PC for, well, anything, I'd never see it again.

Aerocool DS are the best fans you've never tried.

it does not have an option to not run continuously.

you basicly set a library size, and it starts compressing and uncompressing (junk) data over and over, providing some numbers on how fast you're clunking along.

Until you tell it to stop? That works, I'll use that.

i actually run it for extended amounts of time randomly, its a good indicator for dust issues without needing to pop open the case :P

  • 3 years later...

I found this topic 4 years later.

I consider to build new PC with RVZ02.

Best option that I can find is ID coooling IS-60 with noctua 12x15 fan. It's take 56.5mm (as 58 mm avaiable)

I know that IS-60 didn't exist yet when this topic post. but i reply this post in case someone still build new PC with RVZ02 in 2020.
