NVidia released GeForce Experience 3.0

It's cool that they're moving away from that other UI, as 3.0 embraces Material Design.

 

I personally think, that, once NVidia releases it to the public, people will like it.

Good. It looks much better. A nice competition to AMD much improved Control Panel which looks real nice.

I mean it doesn't try to have this "gamer look", nor a race car, just professional.

 

Now Nvidia Control Panel should do away with IE integration and takes 5h to load, and update that as well. I mean it still has XP icons on it.

Cool. Looks like Crimson is getting some competition!

 

On a side note: I downloaded it and just as I was finishing the setup process.... I got a BSOD lol. Something about an index mismatch; don't remember exactly what. It works now after a restart but that was kind of strange...

 

EDIT: And now I have an Nvidia account with a display name I don't want.... God dang it Nvidia.

Dell was having a $600 off sale for the fully specced out model, so I decided to get it :P

 

-Crapbook

Fully specced out early 2013 Macbook "pro" with gt 650m and constant 105c temperature on the CPU (GPU is 80-90C) when doing anything intensive...

A 2013 laptop with a regular sized battery still has better battery life than a 2017 laptop with a massive battery! I think this is a testament to apple's ability at making laptops, or maybe how little CPU technology has improved even 4+ years later (at least, until the recent introduction of 15W 4 core CPUs). Anyway, I'm never going to get a 35W CPU laptop again unless battery technology becomes ~5x better than as it is in 2018.

Apple knows how to make proper consumer-grade laptops (they don't know how to make pro laptops though). I guess this mostly software power efficiency related, but getting a mac makes perfect sense if you want a portable/powerful laptop that can do anything you want it to with great battery life.

How does this look like Material Design besides that it seems like it's horribly optimized for high resolution? There's so much wasted space.

Got that same BSOD while installing. APC_INDEX_MISMATCH was what it was.

Ugly. Much preferred the "current" look. My screen isn't 5 inches wide on PC. Give me some text I can read without a ****ing microscope.

Edit: Also, why is share/shadowplay still separate? That's dumb.
