No, there are two physical GPU's connected together that go to one PCIE

That is still SLI, the GTX 690 is running internal SLI for example, I think this is very old and it won't even perform as good as an iGPU ^^

@imnewheredontkillme Huh looking at another picture of the same/similar card, it only has one 6 pin power plug which looks like that provides all the power for both GPUs.

Quite a nice design IMO. Perhaps if the PCB was all black and it had a better cooler, I would use it (obviously if it was more powerful). It's really interesting how the design team comes up with ways to use this stuff functionally!

I went to youtube and someone actually played Tomb Raider @ 20-30fps with this thing. That's pretty crazy. xD

Guys this thing pushed 55fps on Oblivion at high settings. http://techreport.com/review/10102/nvidia-geforce-7950-gx2-graphics-card/5

You know what's crazy? This thing was the freaking R295x2 of it's day. And it still couldn't hold Oblivion at 60fps. Oblivion was a pounding back then...

They talk about Quad SLI hoping that "Nvidia comes to it's senses sooner rather than later", meaning that they push more support for quad SLI configs so that all people have them. Now 10 years later SLI and XFire is so shit, we all rejoiced when Nvidia stopped supporting 3 + 4 way SLI because now 2 way might not suck so much XD.

That's how GPus used to be before Nvidia startet to throw power at the problem. voodoo didn't and we kow how that turned out. Still I'd love to have a good GPU at 100 watts.
