So I was annoyed at the outrageous cost of some headphone stands (khm khm stax khm khm silverstone)

and considering how most of them are crap anyway, I decided to make my own.

Nice collection of cans, and I'd thought I was the only mad mofo here with more than 3 cans.:D BTW, what's with the cable ties on the AKG Q701? Yes, you'd modded it but why the cable ties?

Cable ties to look trashy in case of burglary!

(they add extra stability to the wires which are glued into the headphones. looks stupid but is effective,)

 

Speakers are handmade, yes, was looking for an "antique" style.

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...
