BF4 beta HEAVILY unoptimized?

Hirad123

Yeah, My 2 580s aren't playing nice. Had to disable one. I am also experiencing a lot of little studders. Even after disabling SLI.

Runs nicely on my rig. Even tried my wife's computer ( 7850 ) @1080 on med/high and keeps a constant 60 FPS.

To be honest the game is good but its heavily unoptimised and it puts me off playing but hopefully nvidia might bring out another shitty driver which most likely will fix nothing. But yeah i am at 90% load on my cpu and i get 60 to 40 fps but drops to like 5 for a second

Ok so, my friend naum tried this on his 295 with 2.5 gigs of ram and it's a no go, seriously like NO drivers for the 2XX series. We'll have to try my friend Kyles 480 after school today to see if the 4XX series can handle it.

Performance seems to vary wildly from user to user.  I am averaging between 70-80 fps on Ultra 1080p with a 7950.  I've seen some posts about 7970's just doing half of that...

My 3570K is maxing out all threads, but doesn't seem to be getting too hot from it.

No I was getting visual oddities when running SLI, I disabled one card and it fixed itself, but still retained the stutter. Though I have updated to the latest beta drivers, Yet it still stutters but I haven't tried SLI yet to see if that was fixed.

Yeah I've been having problems too but you gotta remember it's a beta but yeah I play at 1360x768 because I have nothing else but I'll soon upgrade, with a GTX 560 and I played BF3 at Ultra with 60 fps, I have the BF4 Beta at low with sub-30 fps it's crazy

Hmm I had downloaded the beta drivers, I'll revert to the certified ones and report my experience.

How's your sound on your G35, I have one and I'm not happy. I can't tell how far the shots are from me. I can hear everything but I can't tell from where exactly, it's too much sounds and confusing.

I don't use my G35 for sound normally, only at LAN parties. Quite a long time since i have been at one so :P

But I have never really liked the sound of the G35 that much, it is okay in movies and games, but horrible with music.
Though I think using a Z-5500 with a good soundcard for some years might have done many other things sound bad for me
