What was the point of this video? This video is what I'd expect from JerryRigEverything which is not a good thing. This seems like you made this video because you could get a sponsor for this video and not because you wanted to make an interesting or exciting video.

But none of the phones claimed to be salt water proof, some claimed to be water proof, some weren't even water resistant. 

 

This isn't an extreme video, this is a video saying will can kill $6,000 worth of phones deliberately in a 5 minute video. 

 

The sub-zero build log was extreme, 7 gamers one CPU was also extreme, breaking expensive phones because you can isn't extreme.

Back log content that has a lower quality but has something to do with the channel. I don't care if it is an unboxing or if it is what is in his pile of old hardware at home or him making a video about the Athlon x4 that went through the washing machine in 2009 and what he did to get it to work.

I really doubt any of them will revive. Salt water intrusion is the death of all electronics. Once it's in and dries, the corrosion is real. The only thing I can think of possibly working is before the phone dries out, flushing with clean, fresh water until all the salt water is gone (realistically, pretty much impossible) and then trying to dry it.

I'm honestly interested to know if the phone worked again.   I'm frequently near saltwater, still have my Note 4  because I can replace the battery... but will eventually need to replace it.

Dell was having a $600 off sale for the fully specced out model, so I decided to get it :P

Fully specced out early 2013 Macbook "pro" with gt 650m and constant 105c temperature on the CPU (GPU is 80-90C) when doing anything intensive...

A 2013 laptop with a regular sized battery still has better battery life than a 2017 laptop with a massive battery! I think this is a testament to apple's ability at making laptops, or maybe how little CPU technology has improved even 4+ years later (at least, until the recent introduction of 15W 4 core CPUs). Anyway, I'm never going to get a 35W CPU laptop again unless battery technology becomes ~5x better than as it is in 2018.

Apple knows how to make proper consumer-grade laptops (they don't know how to make pro laptops though). I guess this mostly software power efficiency related, but getting a mac makes perfect sense if you want a portable/powerful laptop that can do anything you want it to with great battery life.
