Best Internet Service Provider In Northern California?

I am planning to move to northern california and I want to know what's the best ISP. The best plan to buy.

Some cities have a fiber optic line that you can get.

Good luck, Have fun, Build PC, and have a last gen console for use once a year. I should answer most of the time between 9 to 3 PST

Comcast can be good.

I've never experienced throttling with comcast. If anything, I usually always get about 10% over my supposed "max" download speed.

Not throttling from what I have seen. Customer Service is a bit sketchy and they also have bandwidth caps. Not in all area's yet, but I would expect them to be every where eventually. They have been testing them in several locations in the US. We still have unlimited data here in Michigan however. Just be aware that you might want to buy a wireless access point. Comcast hands out these modem/router combos that suck for WiFi. Seeing how your getting phone service you will have a bitch of a time buying a modem with voice as Comcast only allows one retail unit to be provisioned with voice and finding it can be hard as they have terms and conditions attached from what I heard. 

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
