Idea for when you type "@"

Any way you can set it up so whenever you type the "@" symbol it will automatically bring up all the names of people who have posted in the topic? Just seems like it would be a helpful feature

No no no. Its like they are all listed there and then as soon as you start typing it goes away. Make Sense?

Or when you start typing names there is an auto-fill in feature where the posters names go immediately to the top of the list

Well I know when you type @ and then anything after it, it starts filtering the list of everyone on the forum until you can just click them... it sounds like you are just asking for a less useful version of that?...

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

Not if it suggests people who have posted on thread as priority over everyone else. Ofc if its almost complete thing, it should disregard people on thread.

My biggest issue with tagging is the random bug where it doesn't start to load names.

Hm..., well the thing about that is I'm more likely to "@" someone who isn't in the thread already.  If they are, most of the time a quote is more appropriate, and in any case, I think it's used infrequently enough that 1 second difference this way or that doesn't really matter.

It's not possible I'm afraid. IMO the ideal combination would be some sort of complex sorting based on having posted in the thread, post count, how much their name matches what you've typed, whether you've tagged them before, etc, but it's just not practical.
