I HAVE SO MANY COMPUTERS

Julian5

Ok, im currently a student at a huge school which is oriented around technology and I spend 99% of my school day working in the IT department building PC setting up AP's etc They did a complete change to macbooks and new servers around 2 years ago adn they keep accumulating tons of pc's. They told me to take what I want since they will trash them. Id say theres a good 40 DELL pc's with intel core 2 duo e6420 and 1gb of ram (max 4gb) I think most of them dont have hardrives, like 10 DELL optiplex GX280's with 1gb of ram and pentium 4 540, A couple of double xeon Dell Poweredge 1950 servers, some i5 machines with 2-8gb of ram (I guess) Tons of dell laptops with P4's and 512 mb - 1gb of ram, like 20 monitors, PSU's,  probably around a terabyte of ram in 512, 1gb, 2gb and 4gb sticks (DDR2 And DDR3). I have started taering apart some of those intel core 2 duo e6420   for the CPU's, psu's and ram. What sould I do with them? Every summer I buy a ton of pc's, fix them and re sell them. I dont wanna be rude and ask for for all the servers and everything. What should I do with the machines? Keep them and sell them, Take ram cpu and psu's out and sell that? make a cluster pc and set up some servers, Just take the servers? I dunno leave reccomendations below.

Upgrade your i3 to an i5? unless it's a first gen i5... (and this sounds like my school...but the opposite...instead of upgrading all our computers, they've just upgraded and added a few new servers and now it's BYOC :P oh well)

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...
