Will there ever be a GTX 1080 Ti?

Hey guys. Seeing the recent reveal of the GTX 1080 and 1070 cards, like others I'm super excited about upgrading to them. With the GTX 1080 being 'double' the performance of a Titan X, is there any possibility of a GTX1080 Ti in the upcoming months? Because I've made a mistake upgrading from a GTX 760 to a GTX 980 (because of the performance) but the GTX 980 Ti was announced a few months later. What do you guys think? xD

It's only double in VR, so they claim.

If I recall correctly they said in the livestream it was 22% faster than a Titan X.

Huh. Even more the reason I should hold on to my 980. But for the price, I think it's a worthy upgrade of those holding a 780 or a 780ti?

Jensen said multiple times the 1080 was faster than 980 SLI, it'd be a very big upgrade for you.

The 1080 is faster the 980sli so my guess it will be equal to a 980ti and the 1070 will be comparable to a 980. If Im notmistaken the 970 was about as fast as a 780ti and the 980 was only 30% faster then that but the 980ti was about two 780ti in sli.

CPU: 6700K Case: Corsair Air 740 CPU Cooler: H110i GTX Storage: 2x250gb SSD 960gb SSD PSU: Corsair 1200watt GPU: EVGA 1080ti FTW3 RAM: 16gb DDR4

Other Stuffs: Red sleeved cables, White LED lighting 2 noctua fans on cpu cooler and Be Quiet PWM fans on case.

The parts Nvidia revealed now are GP104 parts, so GP100 will show up in the future in some way, shape or form. Could be even in the form of GP110, who knows.

But yeah, a higher Tier GPU is bound to come anytime in the future.

The problem is that this is an nVidia product and scoring any nVidia product a "zero" is also highly predictive of the number of nVidia products the reviewer will receive for review in the future.

I wasn't wrong. It's extremely rare that I am. I provided sources as well. Different devs can disagree. Further, we now have confirmed discrepancy from Twitter about he use of the pre-release 1080 driver in AMD's demo despite the release 1080 driver having been out a week prior.

You apparently haven't seen his responses to questions on YouTube. He is very condescending and aggressive in his comments with which there is little justification. He acts totally different in his videos. I don't necessarily care for this content style and there is nothing really unique about him or his channel. His endless dick jokes and toilet humor are annoying as well.
