i7-6700k 4.2 GHz/1.350 V, 92 degrees Max during RealBench, what should I do?

Okay, now put the door back on and let it idle for a while.

It looks like your room is sitting in the 28c or so range right now.

When  you put the door back on we'll check idle temps with it closed up after it sits a bit.

with the HWMonitor open or should i reset the values of it?.

Sure, you can keep it open.  No need to reset.

Omg that build looks so nice

I tend to not really like Black and Red builds, but this is one of the few that actually looks pretty nice.

If you look at the photos here: https://pcpartpicker.com/b/QMjcCJ

You will see the Corsair AF140 at te rear.

I have sold the motherboard, processor, ram and GPU of that build.

I bought new ones (photos at the beginning of this thread), I will create a new completed build on pcpartpicker.com when I receive my new PASCAL 1080 ;)

My build even appear on a Review from a channel on youtube, I don't remember which one is the guy.

Okay so right now you don't have a 980 ti hybrid radiator in the case?

No I don't, I sold it 1 month ago because I'm waiting for PASCAL.

I think that this test of the temps is not very accurate, could be better if i close chrome.

xD

I see you lowered you CPU speed after you closed the door.  The temps are about the same with the door open and the CPU idling at 4.5 GHz as they are with the door closed and the CPU idling at 800 MHz.

You have to pick one or the other to see any changes.  Does that make sense?

I think your case temps look good. Remember that as you stress with the door open your radiator is getting a greater volume of fresh air being pulled in from the big hole.☺

Even though you have good air flow through the case, once you close that door you're going to loose some of that fresh air available to the radiator.

Do you want to take out the overclock or leave it?  If you leave it, as long as you keep your speed step enabled with voltage offset also enabled, you're temps are going to be safe.

I just want a decent overclock to live with.
I don't want to make a new score in the world.

but my temps seems to be mad at me.

I agree, but try to remember that you are way better off now than you were in the first post.  I think you were at 4.2 and 90c + if I recall.  Now you're at 4.5 and mid 80's during stress loads with the door on.  You're voltage is much better and all that's left to do is setup an offset voltage for periods of lower usage.

I will do another test to be sure that I have the correct voltage 1.290 and i'll let you now to set a offset voltage

by the why why on idle doing nothing my cpu increase the frenquency quickly without a reason?. this is normal?. i don't know much about the normallity of a cpu

Yes normal.  Even when you're not doing anything, there are still processes running on your computer.

High temps.

Skylake should be under 80 a few peopel say.

Maybe should I set the CPU down to 4.4?.

or again, my cooler is crap.....

Sure.  4.4 will work.  I think you'll feel more comfortable there.

If you still feel like sending the cooler back I wouldn't blame you.   You'll probably feel better if you did.

At this point I think you've got things pretty well under control.  It's just a matter of choosing which OC that you prefer.  Then you can start using your computer.

Remember that stress testing induces above average temperatures and you won't see those temps again unless your pushing extreme loads.  If you're peaking in the 80's you're fine as long as that's not your normal operating temperature.
