i7-6700k 4.2 GHz/1.350 V, 92 degrees Max during RealBench, what should I do?

I'm sure that'll do fine.  If you have decent case fans and good circulations through your case, at idle, your motherboard temp will only be a degree or two above ambient air temp.

Hi, I have contacted Corsair and they told me that the normal is to feel a little vibration without a noise.

But my unit is not moving and is dead silent, even it's a little warmer.

So, turns out that my unit is defective. I will request a replacement on Amazon.

Okay.

I'm doing this because the Pump and tubes of my GTX980ti Hybrid is vibrating and I can feel it very well if I touch them.

Compared to that, the pump of my H100i is dead.

That explains allot.

H100i the older units are not unkown of pump failues.

Not sure which particular H100i you have?

I was thinking on my decision about request a replacement, I have canceled it. I can live with 4.5 GHz, is not a big deal, 4.5 to 4.6 is not a huge difference any way in performance. I will live and be happy.

I have uninstalled Core Temp and I have installed CPUID HWMonitor.

Right now I have: 4.5 GHz y 1.280 V

Temps are pretty good, much better than the Core Temp said.

Max. 81 C

Min: 32 C

Look at the photo attached.

Please forgive my premature action before, I was crazy, I'm smoking right now and I realized that I can live with 4.5 GHz, in fact, my unit is dead silent, what if the replacement is defective?, I will shoot myself if that happen. xD

So, can you continue teaching me please?, I want to have my system stable and good to go.

By the way, after you saw the photo, what you think about those numbers?...:$

I'm kind of multi tasking for a bit, but we'll get some work accomplished very shortly.  I think you're doing a great job so far.

1. Google Chrome

2. Adobe CS5

3. Coding (I create Software and Websites)

4. Gaming a lot (Main purposes)

Let me ask you something, on CPUID HWMonitor, wherte is the voltage of the CPU?.

I'm seeing two different voltages, what is the correct one?.

Well you've knocked out OCCT and RealBench so I'd maybe loop some synthetic game tests for a while and then you should be able to call your 4.5 stable and you can move onto more.

Maybe run Valley for a while and any other stesser for your GPU and CPU.

GOOD!. Thanks bro.

1. Wait, Asus say something about to change from MANUAL MODE to ADAPTIVE MODE.

What is that?.

:)

We'll  setup adaptive/offset voltage after all of your testing is complete. That'll help keep the CPU cool for daily use without losing the flexibility of your overclock.

Power Option of Windows

  1. Balanced
    Temps: idle Min. 29-30 C
  2. Performance
    Temps: idle Min. 34-36 C

Do you recommend me to have my Windows on Performance all the time?, it won't damage the CPU due to full cpu speed all the time?.

I keep mine on Balanced for daily use.  No need in running the CPU at max clock and voltage at all times.  You'll still need to set up your offset/adaptive voltage once all your testing is done.

1.290 v now, everytime I do the stress test, instability detected appears and now my cpu is on 86 C with this voltage

I have closed ym case with its doors and now my temps goes up.

:( i don't know if I should put my CPU down to 4.4, because with 4.5 during stress test, I'm on 86 C.

I had my case opened without its doors, but today I have closed it and PUMPP, temps up!.

have a friend with a h110i with better temps than me, well, he has a atx case with more fans than me.

I have at the front 1x 200mm, the fan that came with the case, and 1x 140mm at the rear now.

What do you recommend me?. My temps are good on 86 C Max.?

Take the door back off and let temps drop back down to normal idle temps. Once you get there tell me what your motherboard temp is.

Okay, now put the door back on and let it idle for a while.

It looks like your room is sitting in the 28c or so range right now.

When  you put the door back on we'll check idle temps with it closed up after it sits a bit.
