i7-6700k 4.2 GHz/1.350 V, 92 degrees Max during RealBench, what should I do?

Sure.  4.4 will work.  I think you'll feel more comfortable there.

If you still feel like sending the cooler back I wouldn't blame you.   You'll probably feel better if you did.

At this point I think you've got things pretty well under control.  It's just a matter of choosing which OC that you prefer.  Then you can start using your computer.

Remember that stress testing induces above average temperatures and you won't see those temps again unless your pushing extreme loads.  If you're peaking in the 80's you're fine as long as that's not your normal operating temperature.

I will play a little with my games and I will record my temps and let's see what happens.

That'll work.  On that note it's time to get some sleep.  Have fun and let me know how it turns out.

4.4 GHz, 1.240 V

Temps are much better.

I did a Stress Test for 4 hours last night.

Ur insane to not request a replacement if u no the pump is dead but u can live with the temps,

just get the replacement !

also plug the CPU fans into the CPU fan headers there should be 2 of them on your board and plug the pump into a normal fan header because the CPU heads work differently (this is what overclockers U.K. Told me when I hard a similar issue)

ur temps should not be that high

at 4.4 on all corse at 1.2v I get high 30s as a max temp and at 4.8 at 1.35 I get high 60s

ur CPU should run cooler than mine and ur aio has the same temps as a h110 but with louder fans

u can just live with a dead pump dude and have such high temps when gaming

when I run gta v 1440p 144hz maxed out with Sli 980tis

my CPU temps never go above 60 at 4.8ghz

u need to get a replacement otherwise u may end up with a premature death of ur CPU

Let me tell you my story and you will tell me what do you think.

My room temp is 28-30-32 C, sometimes 35 C.

I've read that some pumps doesn't vibrate or sound. Have a friend with a H110i and hes pump is not vibrating either or doing any sound at all.

I have contacted Corsair and they told me there is a few quiet pump and there is a few loud pump, and both can be good units.

In my case I don't know, my pump is dead silent, it doesn't move at all. But my idle temps are good, 28-32 C.

I thought that temps of my room is the guilty.

What do you think?. I can live with 4.5 GHz at least, but to be honest i was expenting better temps with this AIO too.

I was thinking few days ago to return this unit and buy a cheaper AIO, maybe H60, I don't know.

I'm not completely happy with the cooling solution i have here.

I say you return it and get the exact same cooler.  It's a great cooler.  You'll feel better about it.

Why would you step down to a smaller cooler by purchasing the H60?  That's only going to make your situation worse.

I have right now my CPU at  4.4 GHz, 1.240 V  and I still get 75-80 C, maybe, at the end of the day, maybe the cooler is defective, or, maybe, the pump is not working as it should be. Maybe, fuck, i don't know......

Still, I think that at 4.4 the temps are high, sh...**t

;(

look the photo below, 84 C at 4.4?, it doesn't make sense at all.

Note:

If i request a replacement, what if I install the two SP120 fans that came with the cooler at the front, instead of the 200mm?.

I have two SP120 HIGH PERFORMANCE PWM in my closet too.

There's a reason Intel is working on reduced power consumption and lower voltages. ;)

I tried to connect a fan into CPU HEADER but I quickly receive a warning about this"there is not a cpu header connected, please fix this and try again".

I don't know why if i have a fan connected to it.

Those temps are abnormally good.  Do you mind sharing your secrets?

Ambient room temps and what stress test you ran while getting these?

Sadly, my attempt to replicate these temps didn't work out.

I have two fans with the radiator, should I connect the other fan into another fan header available?

1x. CPU HEADER (1 fan)

2x. FAN 1 (pump)

3x. FAN 2 (the other fan of the radiator)

that way?.

I just had a random thought.  You could have built a custom loop for your computer and 3 others in the same time you've been trying to resolve your temp issues.  I guess AIO wasn't necessarily convenient in this example.  :D

All jokes aside, with some cardboard and duct tape, this would work.  It would probably help.  :D

I run Intel extream tuning utility

because it gives me the most realistic temps that I will see on my pc

the temps I get from that stress test are 5-7 degrees hotter than full load hamming with both cards at full load

I have mx14(I think) paste on and 2 noctua 140 fans

and my case has 7 140 fans for cooling

4 I take 3 out

room temps are 22 degrees
