Who in your family has the best/most powerful computer apart from yourself

This can be a desktop or a laptop. Well in my family my uncle has a laptop with a dual core i5. I am the most tech savvy in the whole family so my desktop is the most powerful PC by far

My brother with his desktop that I build him, R9 290 and 4670K. He still has yet to really use it which pisses me off, though he doesn't really have many PC games so it makes sense.

Well until I finish building my pc the most powerful pc is a three way tie between my father mother and I. We all have the same beats hp laptop lol.

My wife has the most powerful PC in our family. 

She use an Asus Z10PE-D8 WS with two Intel Xeon E5-2687W and two AMD FirePro W8100. 

Yeah, she does a lot of CAD and physics work. Luckily, we didn't have to pay for it.

Holy shitsnacks. What does she do?

I make CAD work too and even for bigger projects a Quad Core + HT is enough. But the physics aspect takes more power i guess ^^

She's a constrution engineer. She works for an architects firm and her job is to create plans for bridges and larger buildings. 

Basically, she has to draw out the entire skeleton of the construction and put it through a variety of simulated tests (wind, water, earthquakes etc.).

 

Edit: Or she spends the time yelling at the architects that might know how to design a building, but they don't know jack about building one.

No one in my family has a better PC. My uncle has a 650ti, but besides that the rest of the computers in my family are either C2D or C2Q machines with 9800GTs. I kinda feel bad about it actually, I'll buy my brothers 660TIs and SSDs at some point. :I

They all have equally terrible PCs, but my brother's computer is the least terrible. Can't remember the exact specs, but I'm pretty sure he has a core 2 duo in there, dunno which one though.

Nah architects are cool...i met one dude on the street who looked like he was homeless....we talk for a bit and suddenly he points to a huge building and says he designed it....

I am the only person in my family that knows anything about computer lol. Other than my machine, my brother has the best laptop. Its a 17" dell with radeon graphics and an i7. that is about all i know. he said he got the laptop with the radeon GPU because "he wanted stuff to be HD"

I have the 3 most powerful PC/laptop in my family... then my sister-in-law has an i5 laptop that I encouraged her to buy late last year.. and after that it's my brother that I build an i3 build desktop for him as he only needed one for internet, watching videos and low level games that he likes.

She also wanted me to clarify that her job mostly consist of her yelling at the interns that can't build for shit. 

Atleast untill they learn their lesson come summer. 

And then the circle of yelling and stupidity will begin again next winter.
