Just finished watching the Scrapyard Wars 4 finale.  Luke's team should have won with that case alone!

It was really good yeah, turned out a lot better than I expected.

Team Lukes pc really came out strong, it would have placed well in even a big case modding competition I think.

Did anyone catch the specs though? I know Linus had a 2500k, 16gb ram and a r9 290,

Luke had a i5 750 I think?... idk, Lukes parts focused on the case modding a lot.

pretty sure luke won on the looks side of things, and linus just rekt in performance.

 

at least i had a laugh at them figuring out HP power supplies.

little did they know HP actually has official guides on those.

I think Luke had an i7 first gen CPU, as he was boasting about having more threads than Linus at the beginning of the benchmarking stage

The loose hardware on their mod would've lost points for me, and the fire hazard is not my favorite. It's cool, but real usability is reduced due to that aspect, "Scrapyard Wars" or not.

Just curious, anyone know what GPU Luke was using? Didn't catch that. Also, what SSD did Linus have? I think it was Samsung but don't know which.

Luke and Rod should have won hands down.

 

I don't think Linus and Bob thought very hard on their case design. It was far too simple.

 

The reward for winning though wasn't anything but an award so I guess it doesn't matter.
