How to take down really old intel cooler

if it is, raise the white level on both sides and the cooler will be loose

then release the four corners of the black plastic legs from a hook and you can take it off

How to take down really old cpu cooler on really old intel board? Its stock cooler and around cooler i have plastic chassi and if i want to remove cooler i need remove chassi but I can't remove chassi ? Maybe you can help I'll post picture in coments

You have to push the plastic pieces on the corner down, might take quite a lot of force. They are hooked around the metal.

no, they're hooked on pieces of plastic on the board

 

its a pentium 4 cooler `-`

And just for educational purposes: this is a stock socket 478 cooler. Sometimes the CPU lifts out of its socket with the heatsink on socket 478. In which case you should check for bent pins.

How to remore proccesor from heatsync? :D There was a lot of termo pasta and it doens't move? :D is it bad if i stick something between like knife?
