Will we ever be able to 'mute' status updates?

Will we be able to ever 'mute' status updates? What I mean by that is to be able to stop receiving notifications about certain status'. In the past what you could do was delete all your comments in that status and you'd stop receiving notifications from it though that doesn't seem to work anymore.

we already can, man ;) 

 

Just turn off notifications for them. Not sure if you can stop notifications form individuals though. 

 

Never mind misread your text.. sigh. :dry:

 

Would be handy to have though.

Block them, go to your blocked people theres an option for status updates

I don't want to block them though. I want to be able to stop recieving notifications for a certain status, not all of the user's status'.

They're talking about unfollowing a specific status. If you comment on a status update, you are then notified whenever anyone else replies to it, and there is nothing you can do about it short of disabling all comment notifications.
