Well, it's been about a year. After your vessel trial ends, are you paying?

Quite a few topics were made on this already...

I would only be watching LTT on there, so it wouldn't be worth the money for me. And even then, I'd just forget Vessel existed within a week. That's pretty much what happened during the free year of Vessel I had.

I decided to log into Vessel to check out the 3rd ep of Scrapyard Wars and had a bad surprise, my free premium sub ended. It must have been around one year ago that Linus started promoting it, or at least when I subbed.

Somebody in the same boat? I'm just gonna do the free 1 week

This was their whole strategy, give people premium for 1 year so they get used to 1 week benefit... Then take that 1 week benefit away from them and make sure they pay :D

Jokes on them. I'm not paying, and the fact that they require a credit card for the one week premium is just dumb and annoying - even if it's common for other businesses to use it. I hate it.

Of course they did, why wouldn't they. It makes them money.

nevermind, they dont even let you do the 1 week premium if you've already been on the 1year thing. fuck it I'm not doing it. I'd rather spend those 2.99 on marijuanas

Well Vessel is much more better now, without theese 1yr free peasants. They can go back to youtube and ruin its comment section.

People quoting posts with all the pictures should get banned from internet!

Well the 20$ a year is nothing. It may seem much at first when you have to pay it, but when you look back at your everyday expenses, it is a really small fee to pay for a somewhat good quality content + why no to support the content creators.

Yes because it's exactly the same thing and the mods are sick of these stupid "my free trial ended when it was supposed to" posts (and rightly so|)

I'd rather just send Linus $20 a year to release his videos on Youtube at the same time, Vessel is pretty bad on slow connections and devours data.

Idk, that email i got about $20/yr and no ads is pretty compelling...

im 80% convinced to do it

But $10 a month with YouTube Red and free Google Play Music... Vessel is just video, is not bundled, has a horrible algorithm for how the videos are played, which makes the videos buffer more and longer to watch... I, personally, would stick with ad free YouTube, off-screen play, the unlimited free music, and native support for downloading video to your phone.

$10 a month is $120 a year, not $20 a year

Youtube red is not available in canada otherwise I would have bought it already

Google music is also not available here

Vessel has worked flawlessly for me, never had a single video buffer on max quality

I also don't use a phone so mobile watching or downloading doesnt matter to me

NEW PC build: Blank Heaven   minimalist white and black PC     Old S340 build log "White Heaven"        The "LIGHTCANON" flashlight build log        Project AntiRoll (prototype)        Custom speaker project

Spoiler

Oh ok, yeah, I'm an American, in the USA, I usually watch on my phone at school, or on my pc at home, but my home internet speed at best is 8 mbps down, and normally 2-3 mbps down, so I do have a lot of buffering troubles, and I always stay up until 2AM waiting for Linus's upload on YouTube. while Vessel gets their video @ ~Midnight for me.

I have 50 down at home and 200+ down at university, so vessel works great for me

Nope

I kind of am bummed about the CSF Vessel exclusive (not even just timed exclusive) but nah. Not paying for free content, and I am sure if I was super interested in the new CSF series, that someone uploads it on dailymotion or similar sites

No. I don't like the layout of the site and it isn't worth whatever the price is to view videos a week earlier.
