Going used on a Gpu. What do you recommend

Here are some prices one some used but working gpus Ive founf on ebay (everything is in usd)

GTX 780ti 285-350

GTX 770 165-190

R9 290 210-260

R9 290X  230-270

and many more

So I want to know is if I can find a good older higher end gpu what price would be a good/great Deal deal, rn I think the 770 for 165 would be the best. Im not sure that is why this forum is so great. (:

It's hard for me to gauge at the moment.. because $230 USD is like $7,000 Canadian dollars at the moment.. but 230 for a 290x sounds pretty good.

Personally when buying used hardware I tend to buy locally.. I want to see it work before I buy it because there's no other guarantee.

Definitely a 290, it outperforms the 770 by more than enough to justify the extra cost.

Depends, is it a reference 290x or a Vapor X.

Need more info.

If anyone asks you never saw me.

As long as it's not reference, 290 or 290x. If they are, get the 770, but not for more than the $165. $285 is overpriced for a 780 ti when you can get a 390 or 970 for the same after MIR or from EVGA B stock.

Definitely the 290x, unless you need PhysX in which case go for the 780ti.

If it's a reference 290x I hope you live in a cold environment and need a space heater.
