The waiting game

Yep. Sure am playing the waiting game for Rise of the Tomb Raider and DOOM 2016. Those two games are literally the only games I have a strong interest in, especially DOOM 2016.

 

As for the last game I've played, I went through Tomb Raider 2013 and achieved 100% completion on Hard difficulty :D Also have played Metro 2033 Redux. Haven't played through Metro: Last Light.

DA:O is a great game.

 

It isn't even what I expected (I thought it was more open world RPG-ish), and I'm absolutely loving it. Shows how great of a game it is.

Counter-strike: source  :lol: Go figure I build a pc that can run about any current title and all I play is css still. I do dabble in BF3 and 4 now and then too but not much. I'm currently taking a break from Fallout 4 because I keep crashing out and I don't feel like troubleshooting the issue.  :rolleyes:

since i bought a GTX 980ti ...i pretty much only play rocket league :(

Yeah 980ti uses most VRAM when playing Rocket League than any other game. ;)

4k dsr that bad boy! I just did the other day and made a huge difference in hardware usage, not as big of a difference in graphics though haha

On topic: currently playing fallout 3 (thinking about buying 4), Farcry 4 (still great after 170+ hrs), GTA V, Borderlands 2 co-op (3rd time around), and rocket league

Way to tax those 2816 CUDA cores and that 384 bit bus :P

yes but i run 8xMSAA @ 2560x1440 so i still get around 90 to 110FPS and the GPU usage is 98% pretty much consistently :)

the images are very sharp and good looking, they really pop! also it's liquid smooth and so enjoyeable.

 

Lot's of graphics tweak you can do to the config files, the one to run 8xMSAA is this:

...but yeah :D i should be playing more advanced games than Rocket League but the ones that are coming out ATM i don't really like, and the ones that were really great i've played them all...i can't wait for Tomb Raider though ohhhh gosh that will be beautiful!! :wub:

Trying to escape CSGO. Currently playing Skyrim and keeping myself entertained with mods. Also JC3 now that they optimized it at least a little bit more so the framerate is acceptable.

Current games:

 

1. Star Wars - The Old Republic: Never actually got around to finishing any of the story content, so I started from scratch. Good god, there's a lot of content in this game. There's a separate KOTOR length story for every class, fully voice acted. In addition to that, it's got a fairly standard, but very well executed MMO gameplay loop. Very happy I came back to this game.

 

2. Skyrim with a buttload of mods: This game is usually in my rotation in some form. I have so many mods the game is borderline broken, but I don't care.

 

3. Rocket League: Just a damn good time.

 

4. Super Smash Bros Melee: The greatest game of all time.

 

 

re-playing Mass Effect Trilogy at the moment. Just finished ME2 few days ago. Probably starting ME3 this weekend.

 

Might I suggest the MEHEM mod? Beats the hell out of the endings Bioware gave us. :)

I was playing the first Witcher, made it to chapter 4 and just got board with it.  Back in modded Skyrim where I can squash the BS out of tedious FedEx quests with the console at a moments notice.

Should finish it. It opens up a lot.
