No, AMD doesn't support other features, in reality no one is ready for dx12

Here's my take on the whole DX12 thing:

NVIDIA shouldn't be worried right now. DX12 is not going to be adopted for a while in my opinion. DX9 is still being used for a lot of games, and it was released a while ago. Some games do use DX11 like Battlefront(new), BF3, Crysis 2, etc. But a lot of games simply use DX9 - because I think DX12 is going to have a slow adoption rate, NVIDIA has nothing to worry about. Also, AMD's supposed benefits for DX12 does have limitations as shown here with the Fury X:  http://www.anandtech.com/show/9740/directx-12-geforce-plus-radeon-mgpu-preview/4

Both nvidia and AMD will benefit from DX12 in many ways...nobody is screwed and everybody should be happy...and the topic should be locked before the shitstorm.

It would seem he has similar sub count to JayzTwoCents but gets about a 4th of the views, so not dead but dying I suppose

lol, no

New versions of DX take forever to get adopted, I doubt we'll actually see it in the wild en masse for another two years which they'll have more than enough time to continue stock piling stacks of cash and release GPUs that support DX12 fully when they actually need to.

I've been an Nvidia fan for nearly 10 years.

Nvidia has lied to their customers about their products and are gimping devices we pay for.

Trust me, I've tried to defend Nvidia for the longest time.  I'm heading back to red.

Not meant to start a war.  I hope AMD pulls themselves out of the hole and make PC gaming enjoyable for everyone.

Jay and TOT are not AMD fanboys at all.  That's coming from someone with a 10 year straight history of Nvidia gpus.

I personally insult and defend both companies as required. They're both after money and they both use misleading marketing.

I don't think any other industry on earth is more fraught with misleading and often just plain false advertising.  Whether it's wild, grandiose (and inaccurate) claims with fine print no one reads (or worse yet, just no fine print), showing bar charts with performance numbers and the x-axis started half way up the chart to make a 5% improvement look like 30, or heavily doctored images to give false impressions of how much better a display will look, I've see far too much to take any of it seriously anymore.

Which is why I will only look into credible sources like AnadTech for GPU and CPU performance reviews.

Yeah there's still games being made with only DX9 support since their audience is on old ass hardware.
