A capacitor fell off my mobo. Is it still usable? I will try to post after some advice, By the way i talking on my galaxy tab

How did a capacitor simply "fall off", just resolder it back on.

It may not have had enough solder to hold it onto the board. As long as the capacitor is fine, you can re-solder it onto the board.

It depends what it was for but ideally soldering it back on or getting a replacement before going further or RMA the board if you can.

This capacitor is clearly aiming for welfare. It just doesn't want to work anymore.

Without a good quality soldering station I'd advise RMAing it.

Lead free wave solder needs high temps and if you cannot reach those temps then a cold solder joint is the result.

If it's caused by the manufacturer or retailer, yes. They have the right to file for a product that's been received in a defective state. If they did it, no.
