The way I see it: I could either get Oculus Rift or a 980TI. Why would I go for the one that barely has any games for it?

USB 3 will be ugly as I have to get connections from back and front of case (or rewire or something)
But otherwise I seem to be good =)

Why 4 USB plugs? if its for power then why not a wall plug instead of essentially making people go purchase a USB hub. And if its for data throughput then hopefully the $1000 from everyone who buys the first generation will fund some better transfer method or some optimizations.. I'm excited for VR but the first generation is not for me.

Maybe, 980M and a 6820hk at 3,8 GHz. 3dmark gives my 10k score.

New slogan should be:

Ill f*ck you up Oculus.

I feel like I'm the only person in the world who really doesnt care a lot about VR :P

How to establish if you're the only person who thinks something:

Has the population of humans on the planet dropped to less than 1 million or there abouts?

If yes, then you could well be the only person. If no, then no, there is no chance that you are the only person who thinks that.

I wasn't serious, it was meant more as satire my dear Watson

There are plenty of people who don't care, but reading through this thread makes me feel as if i'm the only one

They do, It's around 980ti level.

You're telling me 2x R9 280X's are equivalent to a 980ti? Surely not?!
