Where else...

you were the one who introduced me to that place full of toxic :D

seems like someone missed out the search on the shelf LOL

Well, I know TD has one for sale.....wasn't sure about XS though. I already have a Storm Trigger Green..... ;) And yep, both of them are very unhealthy for one's wallet, especially XS....Topre RF and Type Heaven, HHKB Pro 2's, DS3 by the truckload.....and a slew of others. That's why I try not to step in there....

Now, you understand the problem I'm facing.....mechanical keyboards aren't cheap, though I do get an auto discount from XS since I buy a lot of stuff from them. TD is the best though, the owner chats me with occasionally and never fails to give me a good discount.....even from discounted items.

As I'd suspected, you're a clicky guy and no other switch types will do. Do you like the clicks of Blue and Green, or has it more to do with the tactile feel. If it's the latter, you can try Clear, man, I love the Clear on my Leopold FC660M......almost as much as Topre actually. Curious about Grey and White.....

Yes I'm all into the click

I am currently typing on an ergo clear with 62g since my green case still drying after painting

and my filco is getting ready for a dress up to green

But yeah, still craving for the click though my ergo clear isn't that bad

I have a 62g and 67g blue on the way in a form of custom keyboard

stock blue is too light for me, so my fingers wont have the excuse to find another set of keyboard as I have different clicky switch with different weight

unless I decided to try monterey blue alps which I heard different feedback from people who love clicky switch

not a fan of alps?

Hey where are you getting your custom board with 62g & 67g Blues? I have been wanting to try blues with 60g but all of my boards are plate mounted, and I myself have never used a soldering iron before.

Whoa there, that paintjob turned out very nicely, Jokrik! B)  Very nice contrast against the black case, me likey!  I'm now thinking of going all black on my Trigger as it's a keeper for me and I'd like to customize it to my preference, It looks like your painted plate is mounted on top of the original silvery gray one....am I right? Where did you get this plate from?

I got me a Ducky Shine II 9008 cherry MX blue with purple backlights.

Its not shown in this picture but I had to flip the bottom row of keys form CTRL to CTRL upside down because their angle was too hight, flipping them around makes them slope towards the desk which makes them much more comfortable to press.

@ megadarkwood and FranBunnyFFXII, welcome to the club! B)

BTW, megadarkwood, why the BW?

FBFFXII, excellent choice of LED color and switch type, I'd recently swapped my Trigger Red for a first gen DK9008S and the thing I like about Ducky is its consistency, it looks like a DS2 and a DS3 with only minor differences, the keyboard I'd gotten is >18 months old and still works very nicely.

It's not TKL but 60%. You can get the Ducky Mini at https://teraset.net and as far as I know the stock is very limited. The shipping price is between 25-35€, but you can read more on their website. Don't get confused about the website being in finnish (suomi), you simply press the Ducky Mini logo/sign on the frontpage and you will be transfered to their Ducky Keyboards for international deals.

NAS build log: Gimli, a NAS build by Shaqalac.

Mechanical keyboards: Ducky Mini YotH - Ducky Mini

Yes thats right,

All I use was masking tape, the masking took forever

I carefully masked mine yet there are still paint that went overboard

so take your time,

thats why once you can handle it, unmask it and see for any imperfection and use your nail to scrape it off while its not 100% dry yet
