I5 6600k Streaming and Gaming?

I dont want really want to spend 400$ on an i7 6700k. A i5 6600k is on sale for 250.

Get a i5-4690k? It's hella good too, and is typically 220-225.

4690k isn't X99, and HT means hyperthreading. It basically makes 4 additional virtual cores for your pc to use.

Get an i5-4690k because Skylake is overpriced.

I want to play games that are in the higher Resolution and higher frames. As well and brodcasting it at the same time. Will be watercooling as well.

Hmm you can possibly use the Thinkpad as a streaming device, let your desktop do the gaming and the thinkpad do the streaming. Its just another option to think about.

Yes, it has 4 cores, 8 threads, and is clocked at 3.4Ghz with a turbo clock of 3.8Ghz so it is plenty capable of gaming and rendering / streaming.
