Pirated windows

Hey guys!

So some of my friends are using pirated windows. And now that i have a new system they tell me to get also a pirated one... i am not 100% sure about it tho. What are the pros and cons of it?

no cons, only pros

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

$15-30 for a windows key, there's no point as you can get windows for so cheap these days, also it's against the CoC to discuss illicit means of gaining software.

It's not something I have done for a long time (I trialled Vista prior to purchasing) and it's kinda annoying when you log on one day and it asks you for a product key

Yup same, as I said I just tried a pirate version of Vista as a dual boot as it was massively different from XP and I wasn't sure I would like it. I eventually bought it cause I wanted DX 10 (I think that's why lol)

Don't pirate it.

 

Support the developers.

 

If there is anything goes wrong with Windows, You can get help from Microsoft rather than Clean Installing the OS unless you know how to rectify it.

It's against the CoC to talk about piracy or give pirated software links on here, also piracy is bad, just go to Reddit you'll find cheap keys for Windows and they're all legitimate

1) asking for cracks/piracy is illegal and against the CoC on this forum, so dont ask for help on how to get it

 

2) you can download windows 10 for free, no need to pay for it

 

3) if you dont activate windows you can still use it just fine, and there are programs you can use to change your wallpaper (which is locked until activation)

 

4) then then only difference is a bit of text at the bottom right corner asking you to activate windows, no need to pirate anything

 

5) if you dont want to have widows unactivated, just spend $30 and buy a copy

 

6) dont pirate

Pros:

- Free as in free beer

 

Cons:

- Well, other than the fact that it's illegal:

- You won't get Microsoft support

- You won't be eligible for future free OS upgrades

- /some/ OS torrents include malicious software

 

Plus, if you're a student, you probably CAN get FREE WINDOWS via Microsoft's MSDNAA for students. Ask your IT department.

To crack Windows 7 you **** ** ** **** *** ******** *** ******** ** ****** **************... only joking I agree tbh

 

EDIT: You also need to play a "not shady" game of Shoot the iPad with the description "no virus trust" ... don't do it
