How much do You guys spend on music alone, per month?

10 USD for Spotify + a few CD disks a month... and yes, i'd like if there were more super audio compact disks in the shops smile.png And yes, I purchase music on Disks if Spotify showed me great music

You are allowed to have animated avatars on LTT, but - try to have images like "userbars" in the signature - no chance...

Not really a per month cost.

I do go down to a record shop a few times a year though.

3.99 is the normal price of an album on Google Play released by Two Steps From Hell, Audiomachine, Immediate Music, Really Slow Motion, Colossal Trailer Music. So that's how much I spend whenever a new album that I like comes out from one of these music companies.(But in case of TSFH and Audiomachine I try to buy everything they have :P)

If I were to average it out it'd probably be fractions of fractions of fractions of a penny....

Normally I spend nothing unless I find a good album, as in, the vast majority of the tracks on the album are good.

E.G: ''Dreams in Formaline' from Omega Lithium.

I'd probably pay for more individual songs if they weren't £1 a pop... Sure, £1 is nothing, but over a collection, that £1 can easily hit the hundreds, then the thousands... As it stands, the only songs I've individually purchased have been by Ozzy/Black Sabbath.

Not to mention I tend to find more artists on my occasional voyages. Even with Spotify's radio and youtube's related videos, I find that the easiest way to find other artists is to go for a voyage on the Jack Sparrow web... Wikipedia also worked well in helping me find some NDH bands.

Probably about £20 for a few new albums a month :/ Less if they're bandcamp albums which they usually are.

I don't spend much on music.

From time to time , i do spend on a artist that I want to support.usually I listed music via YouTube.

Example , I brought the daft punk RAM album on play music after listening to it many times in YouTube. Same thing goes for Eminem , brought the Marshall Mather's LP 2 and a few more.

But I think I will stop buying music ones YouTube red hit Europe or in Finland.

Way too much. I have probably spend over 100$ on music just this month and it has been a slow month. There is just so much good music being released and I just want to have it.

I never liked the idea of streaming services and YouTube is pretty hit 'n miss when it comes to availability and sound quality.

There is some kind of streaming service included in my cellphone plan, but I have never checked which one.

Most of my music is bought on physical media like CDs and vinyl, but a pretty large chunk has also been bought on HDTracks and Bandcamp.

I've got over 20 years of album collection up my sleeves so I've got plenty of loved albums already.

These days I'll buy an album every second month or so, currently waiting on the new Hilltop Hoods album release which should be amazing.

When I was young and working my first full time wage I used to love going into CD stores and buying a bunch of albums new & old.

So much more convenient (and cheaper) for music lovers these days with options like Spotify, Soundcloud and even Youtube

I used to use Spotify so that I wouldn't use that much data while on my mobile plan. But I recently made myself an app, which sends a request to my server to download a YouTube video, strip the audio and send that to my phone. Now I have an easy way of downloading songs, can listen to video's with my phone in my pocket and save €9.99 a month.
