What sort of temperatures do you get while gaming in SLI

It all depends on the cooler.

After overclocking? 

 

With no V-sync, low 70s on the bottom card,  mid 80s top card.

 

I got like the best airflow possible though...

 

 

With V-sync im running mid 70s top card, high 60s bottom card.

If your doing SLI, get at least one Hybrid card for the top, it'll stay cooler

Literally the best that can be done in a midtower....

 

Three front 140mm high quality airflow fans intake with low restriction. (HF-14)

Two 140mm top exhaust from AIO cooler (no case heating) static pressure HP-14.

One back 140mm high quality airflow fan exhausting air with low to no restriction (HF-14).

 

I generally sit around 15-24 C ambient temperatures.

 

Now everything is well overclocked but the point remains valid.

I was just interested, I got two GTX 980ti Lightnings, without overclock it get about 78c (86 percent fan speed) and 62c (64 percent fan speed) after 6 hours gaming, sometimes it goes to 81c (top)

 

I was not sure if this was good or not for Lightnings, got 5 intake fans (BeQuiet SW2, 1000RPM) and 4 exhaust fans. With overclock I get about 82c (top) and 64c (bottom)

I had to add that fan in the side to blow straight on the heat pipes but it works a treat
