I know it's supposed to be an eye, but I can't unsee my original view of it looking like a rocketship with a big fat chin hanging down.

Always looked like an eye to me but I now see it as an R and a G. I don't really know which it is. I'm gonna assume it's an eye.

It's rog written in a special way. Their symbol is actually Pegasus, the flying horse.

If you can't see that the strix logo was designed from the ROG logo then YOU'RE the one who needs glasses

if asus sees an owl when they look at the ROG logo, it doesnt matter if 20 years ago it was designed as a "mask"

what matters is that they see it as an owl mask not a party mask or a cow mask

 

It was the RoG eye logo long before the Strix branding existed. If anything, they incorporated the RoG eye into the Strix branding - as the eye of the owl.

yes you're wrong because you're using an 8 year old article as "proof"

 

and for some reason you can't understand that "mask" is a general term...it can be a mark of anything, yet is clearly is seen as the mask of an owl by their designers

 

maybe if you actually want to get real proof other than "this 8 year old article just says mask" then go to their twitter and ask them if their new strix branding had any inspiration from the ROG logo looking like an owl face

asus sees the ROG logo as an owl face outline and used it to choose their "mascot", a strix owl

sure when it was first designed it was "just a mask" but its obviousl they see it as an owl mask now, not just any mask

I have looked at the Asus symbol numerous ways and still have not figured out what it is supposed to be. Or is it supposed to nothing but just its own thing. Please tell me your thoughts.
