or after you done play the game you uninstall it ?

but I thing uninstall a lot of 40 GB games will slow down pc in time ?

I think I have about... 30 games on my pc right now. I just keep them on there in case I suddenly feel like playing them and  I don't have to redownload them

I only have like 4-5 big games, and a couple of small ones. I don't usually uninstall games, as I am really specific with the games I like (so If i downloaded it, I probably really like it)

I had like 50-60 installed (mainly small ones but some big ones too) but I recently cleaned out my steam library and deleted everything that I don't play anymore or don't plan on playing any time soon.

i don't really uninstall games, usually when my storage is getting full i just buy a new hard drive or SSD. right now i have about 15 games on this pc, tough when the steam winter sale starts this will become a lot more!

yes :P My PC is kinda overkill, but it was built to do anything I could ever need (so If I want to play GTAV sometimes I want it to be powerful)

Steam says I have 197 installed from my Steam Library.

 

After scanning my Steam folders the total install size is around 1.05TB.

 

I probably should delete all the ones I'm not really playing...

This. I have a dedicated drive only for games that i dont regularly back up. I think its about 1.5 TB or something. As you dont have to reinstall games after a clean OS install if using steam everything just stays there until... well... the drive dies.

Machines take me by surprise with great frequency

Yeah, pretty much my setup exactly. I have a 3TB drive dedicated to Steam, Origin, 3rd party games and emulation. Just uninstalled some games I don't plan on playing for a long time, got down to about 950GB now for my Steam Library.

I have around 10 games installed, most of them I already finished but didn't unnistall in case i feel the urge to play them. And no, having games installed won't slow down your PC

I install the ones I play frequently (multiplayer, usually) and the story game I'm playing through at the moment on my 500GB 850 Evo. If I like a game enough but don't play it enough, it sits on my 1TB HDD.

10-12 games on my pc right now

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

I only have one, a modded Skyrim Legendary Edition. With a small HDD you got to pick what game you install (Fallout 4 is currently being downloaded though).

about 120~ games but keep in mind that it are mostly games that dont take up much space. also i have a 4 tb external drive to dump all my games on

Never had more than 4 games installed at once. When I start a singleplayer game... I play it till I finish it and then off with it.

Then a couple of online games to play with friends and that's it and that one game I play occasionally.

I'm too OCD to not have every single game I own installed at any given point.  I have a 4TB WD Black and a 500GB Samsung 850 Evo all dedicated to have games and other stuff stored.  I do keep 2 games on my 500GB Samsung 950 Pro drive with my OS; Fallout 4 and Witcher 3, so loading times are pretty darn quick lol
