It's on the Cat Tips channel, and he decided to have it on there after thinking about all that, so I doubt he will.

Still amazed how far you guys jump into someones private life even if it just a rumor. Im here to watch his vid and not discuss his personal life. First the spam fest of the that vid which was stolen and now this - way to go Linus fans...

Linus is a cool guy and all but the way he conducts himself with Slick on the WAN show comes across very gay sometimes... no offense!  I personally don't care.

I think it goes back to a time when it was much less acceptable to be openly gay in society. Gay people would come up with a system where you could let other gay men know that you were gay without letting anyone else know. In the US (I think Los Angeles) a system of hanging different coloured handkerchief’s out of you back pocket was once used to tell other gay men that you were gay (and how you liked it...), the same was true with the left ear piercing, it was a symbol to let other men know that you were gay.

In all seriousness, I remember when I first came across Linus, I'd been given some impression that he was...not quite a gay "icon", but that it was a part of his identity in the tech community. I'm assuming someone must have said something to that effect at some point, but needless to say I was surprised to hear he'd married a lady not long after that.

I have to admit as well that the first time I watched a few of Linus' video It did "cross my mind" that he might be gay. At the time Ii had only really experienced his happy chappy personality from gay/camp friends of mine so I just equated their attributes to Linus.
